Built in the early 19th Century as a coaching inn for people on their way between London and Tunbridge Wells, the George is a historic town centre watering hole.
Following a relatively brief stint as a late night venue and cocktail bar in the early 2000s – and a few name changes - the new owners have decided to return to the original name, and reopen as a pub, with a focus on craft beer and food.
