From our early days in the nineties working together in bars and clubs in Asia, to the less "hedonistic" surrounds of Sevenoaks, Hidden Jen is born and a lifelong dream is realised. The Bar. Eatery. Social which is Hidden Jen, is an aspiration for the couple who want to show that you should always follow your heart and never stop believing.
Our ethos is all about zero waste...or certainly as close as we can get to it. Our chef orders daily so the majority of produce is sourced locally - meat from ChartFarm Butchers and fish from Chapmans. Fruit and vegetables, where possible, are from the English countryside from T.H. Brown & Sons. And with the kitchen setting a high bar for zero waste, we follow suit behind the bar. No packets of nuts or crisps in pre-sealed packaging, but our homemade nut selections, marinated olives and cornichons.
