Winner at the Kent Mental Wellbeing Awards

We are feeling very humbled today after a special night at the Kent Mental Wellbeing Awards, which celebrates mental health, kindness and wellbeing best practice in Kent's community, business, education and charity sectors. It was a real privilege to be in that room and recognised amongst so many wonderful people, and to hear what they are doing in their communities.

This year's event themes were mental health; wellbeing; kindness and compassion. The awards was staged by Mind Bexley and East Kent in collaboration with a range of wellbeing and mental health organisations. The event was hosted by Nicola Everett from kmfm and Simon Dolby from Mind in Bexley, and featured VIP speaker Hari Budha Magar, a champion of disability and veterans rights.

Of 350 nominations, 50 winners and 20 champions from across Bexley, Bromley, Kent and Medway were announced at the ceremony held at Ashford International Hotel. We are delighted to have won an award for our fundraising and support of West Kent Mind, and helping to discuss mental health through the TN card.

Thank you West Kent Mind for nominating us, and ongratulations to the team too for winning an award for their fast track domestic abuse counselling programme.
