Prices: Prices are very reasonable at £6.95 for children off peak and £7.25 for peak, for 90 minutes of play. Adults are £4.95 and babies (non walkers are free. Little Street Sevenoaks also offer Play pass bundles for their frequent visitors. If you are in the emergency services you get 20% off tickets.
Location: Little Street is located in the Riverside part of Sevenoaks (away from the hub bub of town yet within a 20 minute walk from Sevenoaks station). For those coming by car there's ample parking. It makes it a nice day out as you can pop into Sevenoaks after or pop into the conveniently located steakhouse next door.
Menu: The cafe has plenty of hot and cold drink options as well as an endless snack selection. They also have yummy fruit smoothies on offer as well as all the ice cream you can even imagine! From the drinks menu I'd highly recommend their iced coffee (choose from hazelnut, vanilla or caramel) and from the snacks you can't go wrong with a flapjack to accompany your coffee or pombears and bear fruit yoyos for the little ones. We get 10% off both food and drink with our TN card membership.
Space: Little Street Sevenoaks consists of seven small but perfectly formed play zones for little ones to enjoy, including a supermarket, hairdresser and nail salon, vets, cafe, musical stage, building site and a woodlands room for the babies. There are various vehicles available with our favourite one being the fire engine (V1 spent pretty much the whole session on there shouting through the megaphone "There is an emergency").
The staff on site tidy up around the children as much as possible to make each zone like new for each child, though it's sometimes a lost cause with so many toddlers around! Everything is spotless and sessions have spacing in between so staff can clean and sanitise everything between children.
Facilities: The small cafe is equipped with plenty of tables and chairs for the adults to sit and have a relaxing coffee while the kids play. There is a separate room for the babies with soft toys and a ring pit, as well as a number of high chairs in there. There are two toilets, one with a step for the toddlers and one with a changing table for the babies.
Parking: Parking is great as there's designated parking outside Little Street. Parking is free and lasts two hours - when you enter the cafe you are asked to register your car number plate in order to activate it.
Member reward: We received 10% off our food and drinks from the cafe with our membership card.
Would we recommend? Absolutely. The staff are wonderful and children are so well catered for. Being such a small and safe environment for little ones means that parents can relax knowing their children are safe and happy, being able to keep an eye on the children while they take a seat (if their little one lets them!)
