Location: Situated in the heart of Tunbridge Wells, inside Oakley Fitness, Claudia's soft play is a hidden gem for parents and carers. Despite its compact size, it has everything you would ever need for a fun play date while catching up over coffee with your friends. You pay by the hour and sign up at the beginning of the session. It is £5 per hour.
Menu: Claudia offers a variety of drinks (tea, coffee, soft drinks and even protein shakes) as well as a variety of snacks and delicious cakes if you are feeling peckish. If you are there around lunch time you'll be pleased to know that Claudia also has paninis on offer. You can choose from halloumi (£7.50), tuna melt (£7.50) or a classic panini (£7).
My personal recommendation for a delicious lunch would be the halloumi panini paired with a protein shake and topped off with a flat white (on the house with your TN card!) and slice of Victoria sponge (always a winner!)
Kids menu: There is a kids meal on offer for £6.50 which includes ham or cheese sandwich with carrot or cucumber OR fruit, pom or quavers and fruit shoot.
Space: The space is nice and compact with lots of toys around if the kids don't fancy a run in the soft play. There is a separate area for babies 0 - 2 years equipped with lots of soft toy cubes, toys and a mirror.
The actual soft play is ideal for older kids. I would say the perfect age would be 3 - 5 years old. The feel is friendly and somewhat homely with lots of different wall posters. You will always be greeted with the biggest smile from Claudia or her sister Mafalda.
Facilities: Table and chairs for the mums to catch up as well as the cutest little table with chairs for the little ones. There are high chairs for toddlers. The bathroom is equipped with a changing table for the babies, a potty and a step for all the independent toddlers.
Parking: There are 8 parking spaces outside the building and two car parks nearby - Great Hall car park and Crescent Road car park which are literally 5 minutes away from the soft play.
Additional info: Claudia offers various birthday party packages as well as a creche reopening soon. This will be so helpful for mums who would like to squeeze in a training session in Oakley knowing the kids are well looked after and entertained! All in all a great spot to spend an afternoon in Tunbridge Wells!
