If someone gave you an opportunity to pay a few pounds and enjoy savings worth at least ten-fold, it would sound almost too good to be true. But that’s exactly what the TN card offers! And all while supporting local and West Kent Mind.
Our monthly membership costs £2.99, while the price is even less for annual members at just £2.08 per month. However, by making the most out of the fantastic rewards associated with our scheme, your wallet can quickly earn that spend – and a whole lot more – back.
Over the course of a year, it’s possible to reap savings totalling hundreds of pounds by spending with your TN card. Even over a short two-week period, there’s more potential to cash in than you might think!
Let’s take a closer look…
Food and drink.
Dining out: Eating out is a real treat and the bill quickly adds up, but we've hundreds of local eateries and restaurants offering a discount on your bill, as well as members enjoying a complimentary drink when dining at places like TN1 Bar & Kitchen and Essence at The Pantiles in Tunbridge Wells and Havet Tonbridge. It means you can save a huge amount even if you only dine out once a month. For a meal for four, you're saving between £5 - £20 on one meal alone!
Takeaways: About a third of us enjoy a takeaway a few times a month, and rightly so! If you prefer enjoying local food in the comfort of your own home, we've plenty of TN card partners offering discounts and offers on food collections. Free garlic bread with your pizza from Pizza Olivia Tonbridge or 10% off Greek dishes from Pirouni in Sevenoaks? Yes please! Those few pounds saved each week add up very quickly.
Who's off to the pub? We've a whole host of independent bars and pubs in our food and drink directory. Saving 10% on drinks can save you a fortune, and makes treating your friends to the next round that much easier! £5-10 saved on a weekly night out means up to £500 saved a year, all while supporting local.
Coffee and cake: We’re also a nation of coffee and cake lovers in the UK, with 80% of cafe-goers visiting at least once a week. Good job then that we've a large number of cafes and coffee houses in our directory. The average cost for a hot drink and slice of cake is around £8.50 – so, with a 10% discount, you’re saving about £50 over the year!
Food shopping: Local is always best, but we can't always afford to spend at our local butchers or fishmongers. That's why we're proud to have independent food retailers such as The Fish Shop Sevenoaks, Sankey's Fishmongers Tonbridge, The Cheese Shop in St John's and Larratt & Co. in Tunbridge Wells in our directory, all providing 5-10% discount on purchases.

Health and fitness.
Being a TN card member makes it more affordable than ever to give your wellbeing a hearty dose of TLC.
Fitness: If you want to kickstart your exercise routine, we've exclusive discounts with fitness providers in areas from personal training and climbing to yoga and pilates. We've discounts on gym memberships too. You'll save pounds every month as you keep off the pounds.
Eyecare: With 10% discount on glasses and sunglasses (excluding lenses) at Specsavers in Tonbridge and Tunbridge Wells, and independent opticians Eyelines Sevenoaks, Day Lewis in Southborough and Pantiles Eye Centre in Tunbridge Wells, you can save on essential eye care as a thank you for supporting local. That's a saving of £3-£50 depending on the frames you go for.
Dentistry: From discounts on initial consultations to cosmetic dentistry, just one visit can repay the cost of your annual TN card, and then some. We've dentists in Sevenoaks, Tonbridge, Tunbridge Wells and Langton Green all offering exclusive discounts to members.
Wellbeing: Among our health partners, you’ll find practitioners such as nutritionists, physiotherapists and reflexologists to name but a few. The prices of various treatments can soon tally up, leading many to put off care they could really benefit from. However, purchasing these via your TN card could save you anything from £5 to over £100 – and, over a year, that mounts up to a huge saving.
Mental wellbeing: Wellbeing is not just about physical health of course, which is why we support West Kent Mind. We have a growing number of counsellors, therapists and education specialists in our directory, all offering their services at a reduced rate for members.
Private healthcare: We are very proud to partner with Benenden Hospital to provide members with 10% discount on private procedures over £1000. One of our members saved 10% on her hip replacement thanks to her membership card.

Hair and beauty.
From manicures to facials, almost two-thirds of us spend between £10-50 each month on beauty treatments. Fortunately, we're here to help minimise that cost, all while supporting local.
Hairdressers and barbers: Save on grooming with 10% off a trip to the barbers. That's at least £10 saved over the course of a year. Looking for a chop and colour? Saving 10% with one of our partners means you can take at least £10 off your bill, or enjoy a complimentary treatment that you'd otherwise not treat yourself to.
Nails: If you visit a TN card partner each month to get your nails shaped and polished, with 10% discount each time we'll save you around £70 a year.
Beauty and pampering: Members enjoy generous discounts and offers on facials, massages, lashes, even teeth whitening, at a whole host of beauty businesses across the TN postcodes... you name it, we've got it.

Shopping.
From bookshops and music stores to art galleries and homewares, members enjoy a wealth of savings at shops across the TN postcodes. Here's some food for thought:
Fashion: Put your best foot forward while saving with the TN card, with discounts at lots of brilliant local fashion brands - from Etolie and The Clever Dresser in Sevenoaks, to Grace Fashion Accessories in Tonbridge and Renaissance, Kitch and County Clothes in Tunbridge Wells.
Kids: As parents ourselves, we know raising kids is expensive. That's why we're proud to count wonderful local kids brands such as Stampede! and Whirligig Toys in Tunbridge Wells as TN card partners. 10% off school shoes (£3-7 saved a pair) and 10% off children's toys and gifts makes a real difference to parents watching the pennies.
Flowers: While Elton John infamously spent £293,000 buying flowers over 20 months in the 90s, regularly filling your own home with beautiful blooms needn’t be as costly. Discounts from our independent florists such as Flowersmiths Tonbridge and Mrs Florist Tunbridge Wells mean you’ll pay less for each bunch. Blooming marvellous if you ask us.
Eco Friendly: If like us you want to do more for the planet, you'll be pleased to know members enjoy discounts at Zero Waste shops: The Eco Pantry in Sevenoaks and Zilch in Tonbridge, as well as refills at Roots in St John's. Of course spending locally at our independents is also better environmentally too!
Gifting: On average, we purchase 32 gifts each year at a total cost of £420. But wouldn’t it be nice if you could reduce that spend, while buying unique, local products? We agree – which is why we've so many local makers and gift shops in the TN card. From our High Street partners offering jewellery and gifts to our online makers with art, candles and foodie treats, there's a plethora of businesses thanking you for supporting local with welcome discounts. Not forgetting 10% gifts for our canine friends too at Pets Fayre in Southborough,

Days out and activities.
All work and no play makes for rather humdrum diaries – and activity classes and days out are a popular way to add some zest into regular routines. The TN card directory is packed with a huge variety of arts and crafts opportunities, from pottery classes to perfume making, with savings of around £3 per session. If getting hands-on isn’t quite your thing, our partners also offer discounts on activities such as vineyard tours and escape rooms, saving on average £10 per group of four.
There’s plenty to help keep the kids entertained, too. Take your little ones to Diggerland one weekend and Go Ape or the Spa Valley Railway the next, and you’ll benefit from discounts worth shouting about. Together, a family of four can enjoy a saving of at least £18 (and up to £36) across two of these days out – which makes getting a TN card a no-brainer.

What's on.
If you’ve got your eye on tickets to a local event, there’s a good chance the TN card will be able to save you money. As a member you'll enjoy 10% off select shows each season at EM Forster Theatre Tonbridge and Trinity Tunbridge Wells which saves you £1-£4 a ticket, and you'll enjoy a popcorn or hot drink on the house when visiting The Stag Sevenoaks, and a tea or coffee when visiting The Oast Theatre, Tonbridge! We've exclusive ticket offers for seasonal events like the ice-skating in Tunbridge Wells, pop up shows and touring productions too.
And that's before all our exclusive member-only events each month, which in our eyes are, well, priceless.
