Birthday party at Deckhouse

Thank you to everyone who joined us last night at the brilliant Deckhouse, and to James, Chris and all the team for their incredible hospitality. The perfect way to celebrate five years of the TN card, with superb food, a brilliantly run quiz and the best company.

Between quiz rounds we feasted on flatbreads with red pepper hummus, crispy squid with aioli, patatas bravas, fried chicken with sriracha mayo, arancini balls, chorizo and cumberland sausage bites with fries... not to mention a welcome drink, four wines, and a beautiful lemon birthday cake from Sarah Hunter Cake Design! Our winning quiz team received a Deckhouse gift voucher and Limoncellos, and we had a little gift for everyone to take home too.

We were blown away by the generosity of guests last night in also supporting our birthday fundraiser for West Kent Mind, helping to take our total raised to 73% towards our target. Thank you so much to charity CEO Stevie Rice for joining us and saying a few words and to everyone who gave, thank you!

For many members last night was their first visit to Deckhouse, and they were keen to come back to enjoy the full menu - a couple of bookings were even made last night! Deckhouse thanks members for supporting local with a complimentary dessert when ordering lunch or dinner, so we've a brilliant reason to return.
