The Fairy Godmother has an exciting new collaboration with Tonbridge designer and dressmaker Anita Benko Couture. We visited this week to catch up with Stacy and Anita, and to try on a few of Anita's creations.
The Fairy Godmother on Tonbridge High Street specialises in bridesmaid dresses, prom and evening wear. Customers visit from all around the UK and Stacy's window displays are much loved in the town, brightening our days with their colour and beauty.
Anita grew up in Latvia and started sewing when she was six. She's couture trained and has won numerous competitions for her dress collections. Earlier this year, Stacy invited Anita to create a capsule collection of evening and prom wear exclusively for her shop, and this has now expanded to include stunning bridal wear.
I had the pleasure of wearing three occasion dresses and a bridal gown from Anita's collection, and they were all exquisite - beautifully crafted, timeless and designed to flatter and enhance the female form.
