I am a studio based florist working from my cabin at the bottom of my Kent garden, the countryside is on my doorstep and always a huge source of inspiration. Every season fuels my imagination and I am inspired by the colours and textures around me.
I always try to be an eco conscious as possible with my designs and very rarely use floral foam partly as I don't like to handle the stuff it sets my teeth on edge but also because it takes years and years for it to break down when discarded.
I try to buy British and local whenever I can to save on flower miles and have some great suppliers.
I have recently gained a growing plot and I'm hoping to get cracking and start to grow more seasonal flowers and foliage to use in my work - watch this space for a blog journal.
